PVPLV Trail Skills Training Program

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, in collaboration with trail guru Kurt Loheit, will be hosting the Trail Skills training program beginning August 14, 2010 for individuals interested in learning about and
conducting volunteer trail maintenance.

This free training program will use a combination of classroom learning and field experience to develop qualified individuals with the skills necessary to perform routine trail maintenance around the peninsula with minimal or no supervision. The Trail Skills program serves as the first step in recruiting and educating volunteers who have an interest in assuring safe, sustainable trails for all types of uses. This program is a requirement for volunteers who wish to continue further in becoming a qualified volunteer trail maintenance crew leader.
